Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)
Rehabilitation + Extension Works for all Trades relating to the Professional Training and Integration Center (PTIC) in Dar Naim - Mauritania
- Full trades rehabilitation of workshops Block 1 - Block 2 – (Area: m2 = 846) and an administrative block (area m2 = 305)
- Extension:
• Building R+1 (area m2 = 260)
• Covered parking (area m2 = 90)
• Market gardening area (area m2 = 120)
• First Floor Extension (area m2 = 450)
To this end, CARITAS Mauritania is launching this Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) to companies or consortiums interested in carrying out full trades work.
These entities must have the technical and financial capacity for such a project. They must provide all information regarding their capabilities and experiences demonstrating their aptitude to carry out the services required by this EOI by addressing the following points:
1- Declaration:
The expression of interest will include a declaration signed by the lead representative on behalf of all the legal entities originating this expression of interest.
2- Issuer of the Expression of Interest (name of the legal entity or entities applying)
- Potential lead (according to joint liability provisions)

4- Areas of Specialization:
Indicate the relevant areas of specialization in relation to the services requested by each legal entity submitting this expression of interest.
5- Financial Data:
Indicate the turnover for the last 3 (three) years based on your audited annual accounts.
NB: If this expression of interest is submitted by a consortium, the data in the table above must correspond to the sum of the data from the different legal entities.
6- Material and Human Resources: The company must provide a complete description indicating the total number of employees (permanent and temporary), the equipment and machinery available at the time of application submission, as well as its main current clients and those from the last 5 (five) years.
7- Experience: Summarize the main relevant projects related to the requested service that have been successfully carried out during the last 5 (five) years by the legal entity/entities submitting this expression of interest, including the following important information:
- Name of the legal entity
- Project title
- Material and human resources
- Client's name
- Source of funding
- Dates: project start and finish
- Names of potential consortium members
- Brief description of the project
- Amount of work
8- Methodology:
The company must provide a description of the organization and methodology it intends to undertake for the realization of the services subject to this EOI.
9- Evaluation of Application Files:
The applications will be evaluated taking into account, among other factors, the following information to be provided:
- General and specific experiences
- Certificates of services rendered for works over the last 5 years
- Financial data
- Proposed organization
- Proposed methodology
- Material and human resources allocated to the project
- Quality of the application presentation
Based on the evaluation of the provided information, a list of potential companies (maximum 10) will be established, and the consultation will be carried out in accordance with the applicable procedures in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Subsequently, the 10 (ten) selected candidates can collect the tender dossier upon payment of MRU 15,000.00 in cash or by certified check made out to CARITAS Mauritania.
The tender launch date will be communicated later and in a timely manner to the selected candidates.
It should be noted that an expression of interest from a candidate does not obligate CARITAS Mauritania to include that candidate in the shortlist.
